With 2:33 to go in the game, the Rattlers’ Scottie Meyer scored on 2-yard run to give Sharyland a 35-13 lead.

Witht the Mustangs threatning at the Rattlers 9-yard line, QB George Thatcher was picked off by DB Travis Garza, who retunred the INT 97 yards for a TD with10:07 left in the game.

Mustangs making it interesting

Memorial scored on a George Johnson 9-yard run to bring the Mustangs to within 8 points, 21-13, with 4:29 to play in the third quarter.

Sharyland leads at halftime

Rattlers QB Moroles notched his second passing TD of the game with a 26-yard connection to WR Eric Carrizalez with 1:15 before the half that gave Sharyland a 21-6 lead.

Memorial is leading the yardage battle 171-168. The Mustangs lost both Patrick and Joseph Granchelli in the first quarter. Patrick returned in the second quarter for one carry.

 The Mustangs have kept Sharyland RB Scottie Meyer in check. Meyer has only 32 yards on eight totes, one recpetion for 14 yards and no scores.

Adrian Adame scored on a 5-yard run to give the Rattlers a 14-6 lead with 3:38 before the half. Two plays prior to the TD QB Moroles connected with David Adame for a 36-yard gain.

Sharyland QB Mike Moroles connected with WR David Adame for a 12-yard TD pass with 3:13 to go in the first. Guillermo Lozano’s PAT was good for a 7-6 Rattlers lead.

Mustangs strike first

Memorial EB Patrick Granchelli scored on a 15-yard run to cap a nine-play, 3:15 drive to begin the game. John Kowalski’s PAT was blocked.
