Ugly third quarter comes to end

October 19th, 2007, 7:44 pm by Peter Rasmussen

Both teams combined for nine penalties for 80 yards. A RH player was ejected and the fans are really quiet.

I just found out that because the home bleachers are full, some Bobcats fans are sitting on the visiting side. Very poor showing by Pirates fans.

I would say the quiet Bobcats fan are worse but at least they shosed up.

Bobcats lead 24-7 after with three quarters in the book.

Rio Hondo leads at the end of the third quarter

October 19th, 2007, 7:38 pm by Peter Rasmussen

Just got a message from Alex Jones our photographer. It appears in one of my blogs I said there was 5:03 left in the game. There is actually 1:35 left in the third quarter.

Good to see Alex has my back.

My bad.

A few more Pirates fans have showed up but still pretty empty. Didn’t want to make the long drive I guess. Kinda sad.

For a packed house on the Bobcats side, they are very quiet.

 This post was for OG.

Rio Hondo would drive the ball 29 yards and scored on a 6-yard run by Jacob Martinez, who now has three TDs in the game. Rio Hondo leads 24-7 with 5:07 left in the game.
