QB Oscar Perez connected with TE Martin Carrasco for a 19-yard TD to give the Pirates a 28-0 lead with 8:47 left in the third quarter.
The Pirates had the ball at the the Red Ants 19 after Progreso RB Juan Vega fumbled after a 10-yard run.
