Now this is when the real fun starts. There are a few teams still playing it off for a postseason spot but for the most part everyone is gearing up for the playoffs. This is what everyone has worked for and I am anxious to see who goes the furthest.
I want to congratulate Jenny Lozano/Gaytan and her Edinburg North Lady Cougars for making the playoffs. You could just hear how proud she was that Edinburg North made the playoffs for the first time in nine years.
I have to also congratulate Nora Zamarripa on winning her 600th career win Thursday night.
It looks like Edinburg High and Economedes are going to flip for seeding and not play for the second seed.
I spent some time at McHi Thursday. A quick update on whether or not im in the loop: I’m still on the outside looking in.
It was refreshing to see coach Casso and her staff are keeping it loose. It was all business during practice but I thought the coaches might be uptight with the playoffs and the high expactations bestowed on McHi but they were showing some humor.
Yes 10 league titles in 11 years is a dynasty.
McHi fans out there I need your help. If you would like to see coach Casso as my next video interview, please let her know. Im trying to convince her to be my next guest. I promise ill wear McHi yellow on camera if you do. I’m not sure if I have a purple shirt but I think I have yellow.
