A couple Texas teams made the Super 25 national girls basketball rankings by the USA Today. Read all about it here.
My mom started reading my blog, or so she says. … Roger Clemens looked lost in his testimony. … My fiancee’s dog bit me Thursday. Gigi has made it real apparent she doesn’t like anyone leaving the house. … I got my second flat tire in less than three weeks. … Look out for my baseball story Sunday. There is some real talent down here
Here are my predictions for today’s games.
McHi vs. Economedes: McHi
Pace vs. Cigarroa: Pace (but not confident) I would like to see an all-valley regional quarters.
South vs. Memorial: South
Alexander vs. Edinburg High: Edinburg High (tough one to pick)
Mission Vets vs. South San: Vets (We actually have a stringer to cover this game.)
La Feria vs. Gonzales: ummmmm I’ll say Gonzales
Raymondville vs. Ingleside: Ingleside (still have never heard from the Raymondville coach)
Santa Rosa vs. Poth: Poth (This would be a huge upset if the Lady Warriors pulled it out)
San Isidro vs. Comstock: San Isidro (why not).
Let me know what you think.
To my reader Paul: If there was something wrong with the video, I find out with everyone else. We have a Web department that handles the videos. It may have been a case of us speaking to low. We have a very simple production here and I wouldn’t know that there was a problem while interviewing. If you have any suggestions on how we can make it better or what you would like to here me talk about, let me know. (Although, I might be done with basketball videos. I’ll keep you updated).
To bballjunkie: I specificly waited to have coach Casso as a guest for the playoffs because I knew there would be a lot more interest in McHi come the postseason. Thanks for watching and reading.
In case you missed Coach Casso’s interview.

Peter, I understand that you may have a very simple production but a “mic test” prior to starting the interview might not be a bad idea. Maybe you can ask the kids at KMAC for some help.

Hey Peter,
I agree with bballjunkie, a mic test would be good. How long is the cord on the mic; move it up closer. Don’t ask KMAC for help until you’re inside the loop. They may sabotage your interview. Keep up your blogs.

Last I heard he was still not in the loop. I will take a line from “Meet the Fockers” “It”s a circle of trust, you are either in or out.”
