And then there was three

I heard the South-Alexander game was entertaining. I heard to expect guard Bianca Torre to be hassled with double and triple teams in the game. It looked like she was but she managed a big game. 20 points, 18 steals and 12 assists was her stat line. She’s a good one. South takes on San Antonio Madison at 8 p.m. Friday.
HIDALGO vs. WEST OSO
What I noticed is that the Hidalgo’s guards are very young and inexperienced. I saw this as a learning experince. They were hounded all game and found no way out of the press.
Nashae Owens and Jessica Castillo are only freshmen. I think Valley girls basketball fans will hear a lot about them in the years to come.
Victoria Gonzalez was not as dominating, mostly because they turned the ball over so much they couldn’t get it to her in the post. But what surprised me the most was how she couldn’t grab a rebound. She had only five but averages almost 19 a game. West Oso did a good job of boxing her out.
WAGNER POSTS
Lady T-Bird posts Amber Roberson and Breanna Brock are 6-3, 6-2 respectively. Here is a little info on Wagner.
